Gordon A. Secrest's Obituary
Mr. Gordon A Secrest, age 63, passed away on Monday, March 24, 2014 at home. He was born on August 4, 1950 to Gordon and Joan (Boukamp) Secrest in Muskegon. He served his country in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam. Gordy had worked 42 years for American Grease Stick (AGS) as a chemical compounder. He enjoyed reading and camping in his spare time. SURVIVORS include his daughter, Hanni (Will Haney) Secrest; life partner, Jane Wojeiechowski; sisters, Cindy (Dennis) VanEtten and Linda (Thomas) Bosma; brother, Pete (Megan) Secrest; special friend, Wayne; several nieces and nephews and his grand dog, Cosmo. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 11:00 AM Friday, March 28, 2014 at The Lee Chapel 6291 Harvey St. 231-798-1100 with Pastor Mike Connell officiating. VISITATION with his family will be one hour prior to the service. MEMORIALS to Johnson Family Cancer Center would be appreciated.
