Oss was such a great example of what a Christian man, husband, father and friend should be. He was a great mentor to me as a consistory member. He always encouraged my family and I and asked about our children. We both loved Oakridge football and spent a lot of time talking about it. Oss always asked about my son when he played for Oakridge and later Hope. I will miss him.

I hired into Oakridge as a teacher and worked there while your dad was head of maintenance and transportation supervisor. He was a man who was kind to every one and if he seen you he always said hi and on occassion would converse with you. I just think he was a very nice person and I am sad to hear of his passing.
