I was so deeply saddened to hear of Gudrun’s passing. I knew her when I was a teenager, and she made an impact on my life that I’ve carried with me ever since. She believed in me at a time when I didn’t always believe in myself, and she convinced me that I could do better and reach higher.
I will never forget the rides in her blue Corvette, the talks we shared, or helping her feed her dogs. Those memories are still so vivid and meaningful to me. Gudrun was truly special—kind, encouraging, and full of a spirit that made others feel seen and supported.
