When I would go home for family reunions during and after my time in the military, Gurney would always stop by my dad's house to check on him. I really enjoyed the time we sat and talked, reflecting on life and memories. He really loved his people, and I believe he loved everyone. Gurney and his brothers are all big men, but they are also gentle giants. They were always willing to lend a hand. Take your rest cousin and tell the rest of the family hello.
