Harold G. Frazier's Obituary
Mr. Harold Gene Frazier of Muskegon, MI died February 1, 2021 at the age of 92. Harold was born in Sullivan, Illinois on September 12, 1928, the son of Haskel Wertie Frazier and Gertie Zadie Creek. He worked at Scott Paper Mill/Sappi for 29 years, retiring in 1992. He was a member of Covenant Christian Reformed Church in Cutlerville and was baptized April 7, 2013. Harold was well known for his incredible fishing expertise and adventures, and he also loved to hunt and golf, blessed to remain very active until the end. He is survived by his children, Gerald Wayne (Karen Page) Frazier, Timothy Lee Frazier, and Scott (Jennifer Collins) Loss, all of Muskegon; grandchildren, Leslie Jean Frazier, of Los Angeles CA, Carl Max (Melissa) Loss, Cody Vance Loss, Trenda Kaylin Loss, all of Muskegon MI; stepson: Steve Archer, of Grand Rapids MI; step-grandchildren, Len (Trisha) Hammond, of Texas, Troy (Wendy) Hammond, Lisa Hammond, both of Grand Rapids, MI, Michelle (Archer) Keur of Indianapolis, IN, and Amber (Archer) (Corey) Dean of Grand Rapids MI; sibling, Shirley Ann (Frazier) (Varney) Milner of Twin Lake, MI; and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Harold was preceded in death by his parents, Haskel W. Frazier and Gertie Z. Creek; his first wife of 23 years and mother of his children, Shirley Jean (Dolinski) Frazier; his second wife of 33 years Morna June (Yeaw) Frazier; his daughter, Linda Lou (Frazier) Loss; his stepdaughter, Betty Jo (Archer) Hammond; his granddaughter, Emily Ann Frazier; and his siblings Grace Olene Frazier, Ruby Maxine Frazier, and Frances Ruth Frazier. A LIMITED SIZE VISITATION will be held on Monday, February 8, 2021 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at The Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 S. Harvey St. Norton Shores, MI 49444. Due to the COVID restrictions, visitors will be rotated, with a maximum of 25 at any one time. A private family service will take place. Burial will take place in Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
