Harriett L. Gedeon's Obituary
Mrs. Harriett Louise Gedeon, age 87, passed away Thursday morning March 12, 2009. Harriett was born in Chicago on November 30, 1921 to Harry and Anna (Beckstrom) Mihills. She married Mr. Dennis V. Gedeon in 1948 and then settled in Ravenna. Dennis preceded her in death in 1976. The family moved to Norton Twp. in 1956 then to Spring Lake in 1970. Before her retirement in 1987, Harriett was employed as a secretary at Clarke Floor Machine. She was a member of St. Luke’s Evangelical Lutheran Church. She is survived by; two children, daughter, Linda (Gerald) Gedeon-Kuhn of Bridgman, MI; son, Thomas R. Gedeon of Spring Lake; daughter-in-law, Ellen Gedeon; six grandchildren and her caregiver, Darleen Hitsman.
