I first remember that great Sonny smile when Rick and I played little league baseball 60 years ago. He was a guy that a lot of us young guys looked up to because of it. I wanted to be nice like Sonny and then when I became a pharmacist, I again wanted to be nice and friendly like Sonny. Even as I write this little memory, I have a smile on my face thinking about Rick and Fern and the kids and how lucky they were, to have Sonny.
A truly kind American soul with a little humor! I will miss your sweet self and beating you in cribbage! Hold your Marva tight...Honored to have met you in my life journey!
