My condolences for the loss of your Mother/Grandmother. It sounds like she had a full and wonderful life.

I did not know Mrs. Flickema, but I believe she is my father's cousin. His mother was Josephine Olthoff, sister to Thomas (and many other siblings) and daughter of Theodore "Tiede" Olthoff and Jenna Olthoff. I have a wonderful 8 x 10 family picture of Theodore, Jenna and all of their children. Most of them are in their late teens and twentys, except the 2 youngest, Elsie and Ted. If you believe Helen's father is my grandmother's brother, and would like a copy of this Olthoff family photo, feel free to let me know. My husband scanned the picture and it came out wonderful, so I could either e-mail it to someone or mail a copy.
