Aunt Helen will be remembered with much Love. My Grandma loved to tell me about her baby sister and I remember accompanying my parents and grandparents on visits with her and Uncle Web. I loved just being there with them, sharing something to drink along with a few memories and what was happening lately. I looked forward to every visit. I remember the Kestaloot family parties.and how pretty Margie always was.Your families are in my prayers.

Sorry to hear of your grandma's death, Laura. Although I only met her a few times, she she always was smiling and just had spunk and enjoyed being around people.

The first time I met Helen was about 1975. I was a new comer to town and she was in Lourdes Hall, up to her elbows in dishwater, in the kitchen, chatting with me. She tried to relate by telling me of her husband, "Web" (as I recall) and her family. I don't recall a lot of what she said, but I do remember her bragging on her son in law. "Surely you know Chuck," she said. No, actually, but . . . . Well, she went on about how fine he was;, and she kept washing dishes, and smiling, and trying to make me feel at home.

A person doesn't forget people like Helen. She was a darling woman, and I'll miss her.

You never forget the first persons who befriends you when you are strange to a town, and she was one of those much needed people.
