Helen G. Hilliard's Obituary
Mrs. Helen G. Hilliard, age 86, passed away early Tuesday morning, July 13, 2004. She was a member of Salvation Army Church. She was born on November 4, 1917 to Wesley and Alice (Fuller) Macy in Midland, MI; and has resided in the Muskegon area since 1937. She was married to R.C. Betz and he preceded her in death in 1964. She then married Henry Hilliard on June 19, 1969 and he survives her along with 5 children Ronald (Kaye) Betz of Noblesville,IN, Daniel (Sandy) Betz of Muskegon, Linda (Douglas) Yeck, of St. Paul, MN, David (Sylvia) Betz, of Kalamazoo, and Mary (Paul) Duskin of Sioux Falls, SD; 3 step-children, Carroll (Nancy) Hilliard of FL, James (Kathy) Hilliard of PA, Roger (Judy) Hilliard of Brethren,MI; 13 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews; 1 brother Robert Macy of Scottville; 3 sisters Dorothy Schmuhl of Ludington, Bernice Avery of Cedar Springs and Beatrice Suida of Muskegon. Helen was preceded in death by 7 brothers and 3 sisters. Services will be 11:00 AM Friday at Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc., 737 Apple Ave.231-726-5210 with Majors Max and Betty Grindle officiating. VISITATION will be 2-4 and 6-8 Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial Contribution to the Salvation Army Church would be appreciated. Burial will take place at Lakeview Cemetery in Ludington.
