Helga and Dale was very special, they came to mom's on Christmas Eve for several years my sister Sandra was good friends they lived close so went back n forth to there houses They are missed around Twin Lake and may they both RIP Loretta
My condolences to both Gary's family and Matthew's family and extended relation. Ken and I remember both Dale and Helga fondly and saw them frequently at church for activities and services. We also visited at each other's homes. We also went to dinners at the Legion. We were especially close friends and often Dale helped us a lot with fatherly advice. I always teased him that he was my substitute dad and I think he was rather proud of that. Helga was great too especially because I'm Dutch and Ken was German so she fit in just like a Dutch or German mom and she could cook like one too. Whatever she made was good especially pies.
