I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Henni. I worked with her at Grand Haven Public Schools in 2000. She was always kind and thoughtful to me then and on occasions we bumped into each other in the years following. Allen Winslow

During the years I served as president of the GHAPS school board, I came to know and rely on Henni Campbell. Always pleasant, she was well-prepared, considerate, gracious, loyal to the superintendents and the board, and completely trustworthy with confidential and often sensitive information. During even the most raucous of the board meetings -- in packed rooms with high emotions and tv, radio, and newspaper coverage -- she remained poised, calm and imperturbable. At informal board gatherings she was very sociable with a nice sense of humor. Henni, was a consummate professional who made the GHAPS superintendents and board members better in their roles. She will be missed.
Henni and I met several times while she lived and worked for GHPS. We knew each other enough to recognize each other and speak either downtown shopping, walking, or encountering each other at school. She was always very pleasant and thoughtful when we talked. I’m sure she was an asset in her GHPS working environment and I know she was just a lovely and caring person.
I am so very sorry to hear about Henni’s passing. I worked with her at GHAPS and she was very kind and friendly. We shared a love of Todd Rundgren music and lots of fun conversations.
