Dearest Gretchen and family -
Please accept my heartfelt sorrow due to the loss of both a great man and father. I first met this man 47 years ago at his home. My immediate awareness of his interest and concern for the safety and well being of his family was explained to me by Mr. Henry Remwolt. I also received instructions and conditions which allowed me to interact with both the family and the family horses. I advised him that I was willing to honor & respect his wishes and thinking.
I learned a great deal about animals, fairness, and life from this gentleman. I quickly grew to both admire and respect his thinking and decisions. Firm, yet fair in both business and life, I enjoyed travelling to horse shows to assist in showing "Buddy" and "Second Hand Rose" by being a stable hand and cleaning tack. Mr. Remwolt was generous and caring in dispensing both praise and gentle critiques when necessary. I only saw him briefly in either of his two stores, but he always appeared stylish and elegantly dressed.
I hope that this great man will live forever within your hearts and minds because he deserves the honor and tribute. May God bless him and his family.
