So sorry to hear about Uncle Hugh. I remember years ago walking or riding bikes down the road, waving and yelling "Hi" when he and Aunt Ruth lived by us. Love and prayers to you all! May God grant you peace and comfort now and in the weeks to come.

So sad to hear about Hugh's passing. Hugh was like a father to me. We were in choir and I so enjoyed his deep bass voice. I would tease him often how I could feel his voice shake the pews. He and Marge were dear friends and we worked with both of them at the American Legion for Friday perch dinners. We had so much fun with the "dog pound" and Hugh was very much a part of us having such fond memories. My heart is sad and our prayers are with Marge and family.

Hugh was such a wonderful and gentle man. I enjoyed working with him at Spring Lake Township. I always felt like he was my "buddy". I will always miss those blue eyes and that great big smile. Rest in piece Hugh! Prayers to the family.

It was wonderful being Hugh's neighbor for 10 years. He was great man to talk to and have a few laughs with. His smile and laughter will be missed by everyone.
We always enjoyed being with Uncle Hugh. He had a great sense of humor, and had something clever to say every time. Hugh was someone I could always depend on. He had an answer for everything. Having the privilege of living next door to him and Marge for 7 years are times I will always cherish. Thank you for all the humor and one of most distinguishable voices I've ever heard. Definitely will be missed!
