I was one of Irene Dobb's nursing students at Hackley, class of '63. From Irene's obituary I learned that she is "aunt" to friend RN, Rosemary Vanderstelt Simpkins and her brother, Larry Vanderstelt, my grammar school classmate . Small world. She was a fair and kind instructor with endless patience for her students. It was a pleasure to know her as she played an integral part of my nursing education.
