I saw Irene at St. Anthony's on Tuesday mass days and she always had a twinkle in her eyes and something to say to make me laugh. I saw her working funerals frequently at St. Pats-St. Anthony's and admired her for giving a helping hand. She was a gift from God to many and I will miss her. Irene will always be remembered as my favorite landlord! She was so kind to us years ago and it will never be forgotten.
Oh such a "SPIFFY" LADY...You could see her smiling face at almost every function for St. Anthony and St. Patrick Church. She always had such great spirit - and enjoyed driving her bright red car! Everyone enjoyed her stories of years gone by and when she owned "Tip A Few". Once in awhile I would see her in neighborhood stores and she would always give me a warm "hug". Irene was just like a second Mom to me. We worked many funeral lunches together and RCIA dinners. Also the Festivals. She worked relentlessly on each and every one.
