I met Irene 52 years ago as a close friend of her daughter, Sheri. I remember her to be kind, attentive, caring and her love and devotion to the Lord. She always asked me how I was doing and meant it.
After Sheri went home to Jesus, I wrote a tribute to her for leading me back to the Lord. I’ve been walking with Him since that nostalgic time with Sheri. Irene saved a copy of it and cherished the memory as well.
The last time I saw Irene, she was thrifting with Rene, was smiling and as beautiful as always. Her eyes longingly gazed as I explained my friendship with Sheri to remind her of how I knew her. I’m so glad she had Rene and her family to lovingly care for her. Irene loved her family.
I know she is more alive than ever now and living her best and eternal life with Jesus, Sheri and many loved ones in heaven. ❤️
See you when I get there, Irene and please give Sheri a big hug for me till we’re all together again. Prayers for the family. 🙏🏼Love JoAnne x
