Mrs. Irene Ruiter, age 88, of Grand Haven passed away Sunday, January 6, 2019. She was born December 15, 1930 in Grand Haven to Rudolph and Mary (Volovlek) Resner. On March 3, 1955 she married Bernard “Bud” Ruiter and he preceded Read Obituary

Growing up, Mr. And Mrs. Ruiter were my second set of parents. They disciplined me, welcomed me and loved me. I was so very fortunate to grow up with them in my life. Although I haven't seen them for years, my memories are abundant and oh so dear. I loved them and will always be grateful for all they did for me. Sending my love to all the girls. You are like sisters to me and I adore you!
So many great memories of both Irene and Bud growing up. My sincere sympathies to Lori, Beth, Sue and their families during this time.
