Mrs. Clawson was my neighbor across the alley and the mother of two of our childhood friends. I remember her as a very sweet and kind lady. Once, my younger sister, Sheila, had gotten the lid of a doll's baby bottle stuck on her finger and we tried, but couldn't get it off. Her finger was turning blue and we were upset. For some reason we ended up at Mrs. Clawson ' s back door, and she came out and cut the plastic ring off Sheila's finger. It was awesome - she saved the day! Lol. We loved her. :-) That's only one memory of sweet Mrs. Clawson. Our neighborhood clan included her daughter "Debbie" and her son "Rip." Great times. Love and miss everyone. Rest in peace, Mrs. Clawson. -- Gail Reynolds (Acre)
