Jim personified "neighbor" in the best ways possible. A friendly, helpful face that everyone on the road knew and loved. We haven't lived next to Jim as long as some of our neighbors but his openness and obvious joy in life quickly transitioned my kids from calling him "Mr Jim" to "Papa Jim". Jim always (too often!) had treats and jokes for the kids, and well wishes and friendly conversation for myself and my husband. I am so thankful that we got to know and enjoy Jim, even if just for a few years. His presence in our lives will be missed.

Every memory I have, is one filled with laughter. It was impossible to ignore Jim's presence because he'd be pulling so many tricks on you, you'd have to be on your toes every minute. Even now I smile because every memory I have is a happy one. The world would be a brighter place if everyone had a bit of "Jim" in them. Sending love to Jim's family. He will be missed.
