Our condolences to Sandy and family during this difficult time; we pray for peace and strength. We still have many memories of our times together in our Bible Study group. We remember well, the times of laughter and Jim's ability to spin a good yarn (often hunting-related).

I've known Jim since I worked with Cheryl at Big Boy in 1969.....Two of the sweetest people I have ever known. May the many you have memories bring your family comfort.
How many years ago was it that I dragged you to MACS (Muskegon Adult Christian Singles) group, Sandy? Remember the great times we had there? Especially the annual Road Rallys! That was were you met your soul mate, Jim. Kim met Rocky DeJonge, and so many others met their soul mates there. Remember how the MACS group nicknamed you and Jim as “The Brady Bunch” family? So many fun memories! And, thank you, too, for attending the group with me, as I was too “chicken” to go alone!🤣
Sandy and family - Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Jim was one of my first clients when I was 20 years old working at WMUS radio. Over the years Jim became a client of RC Productions and I helped with his advertising and marketing. The stories Jim would tell of your travels, hunting, motorcycle adventures we could talk for hours. He was a great client, friend and supporter of mine.
He was always so thankful for the lot he bought from us for your beautiful home. He had it all going on there as he would say.
I'm blessed to have known such a great man and friends. May God guide you during this difficult time. It's not goodbye Jim - its until we meet again.

My first introduction to Jim was almost 10 years ago. I was interviewing to be the Pastor at Celebration Community Church and we had a big interview party at Mike & Connie’s. After lunch they thought it would be a great idea to play a youth group game. Despite my desire to put my best foot forward, I was struggling. I couldn’t figure out the game and I was quite sure it was reflecting poorly on my interview.
As I stood at the back of the room still trying hard to figure the game out, up walks Jim. He nudges me and says, “Figured it out yet?” I’m thinking, “Dude, you’re breaking my concentration and now I’m stressing out even more now!” But I simply said, “No, not yet.” Jim chuckles and gives me this smile with twinkle in his eye. He says, “Don’t worry about this. The important stuff is happening later.” Then he tells me the secret of the game! And this world of stress falls off my shoulders and the rest is history. So, Jim is to blame for me coming to Celebration.
Dear Sandy and family, Doc and I are thinking of you at this time. I remember the fun Chapter N rides, breakfasts , and parties at your home. Lifting you up .Deanna and Greg.
