Going back to our days at Muskegon Tool, Jim was always very helpful when I needed some advice and a wonderful person that i was lucky enough to have known. He would always go out of his way to help anyone. A truly great person! My "Deepest Sympathy" to all the family. Jeff Holstine.
I remember Uncle Jim as a jokester. Always playing jokes on people. Him & Aunt Ida always made you feel welcome when you came to their side of the state. Remember Uncle Jim's ability to read & spell backwards. One time they took us for a tour of Muskegon. You could tell he was proud of his city.
Hugs to the family. Lynn Snyder
When Uncle Jim and Aunt Ida would come over to Bay City to visit my mom would back for a week to make sure she had cinnamon rolls and angel food cake and all kinds of goodies for her brother when he got there. Well the apple don't fall far from the tree cause when my mom died I tried to pick up where she left off to make sure my Uncle Jim still had his cinnamon rolls and angel food cake when he came to Bay City. i even made them and did a special delivery and took them to Muskegon because when we was talking one time he asked where his cinnamon rolls was because he hadn't gotten them yet. Least I could do was make them and take them over to him and Aunt Ida. When my mom went in the nursing home I enjoyed having Uncle Jim and Aunt Ida come to my house and stay so they could spend time with my dad and my mom. Marv and I enjoyed the time we had with them when they came here.
R.I.P. Uncle Jim Tell my mom and dad I love them and miss them. You will very much so be missed.
Rest easy now Jim. You will be missed.
Love Diane and Greg.
I love you Grandpa!! I will miss you every day!!
