I knew Jan since she was 7 or 8 years old as her sister married my brother. Jan was a dear friend and a great person. She worked for my business Superior Catering for many years and was always a great worker with a smile and laugh. I was shocked to here of her passing and only found out yesterday. Met Jan thru a group of friends, we had a lot of fun hanging out in the little house at Jan’s. Riding around in Tommy’s convertible fitting to many people in, Jan,Matt,Marybeth,Laurie and me ❤️RIP my friend prayers for the family 🙏🏼
I met Jan when I was about 7 and old enough to cross 4 mile rd. She was one month older than me and never let me forget it. We lived directly across from each other but in different school districts. We shared all of the same friends in our neighborhood and spent a lot of time playing as a group in the "woods" behind her house. It was a great time to be a kid. We all grew up and away, keeping both close and random contact with each other. Jan always had a positive outlook for the future and found joy in the moment. Family was deeply important to her. RIP my friend. Deepest sympathy to all her loved ones.

I Loved working with Jan she was an Amazing Friend when i would walk into the kitchen i would ask her about her grandson he's an Amazing Young Boy we would also talk about how she was gonna teach me how to crochet and i would say i already know Jan would tell me I'm gonna teach you a new way, She Will Be Missed Big Time

The residents at Roosevelt Park and myself will dearly miss Jan. She loved to make big pots of soups for everyone and we loved it! She was a special woman.
