I was heartbroken to find out that my old high school friend had passed away. I moved back to Michigan in 2014 and was trying to find Janice, to reconnect. I was having trouble tracking down a current address. I found out the truth of where my friend was mid-summer 2016. I will always miss her. She was a light in my life. The memory of Janice will always remain here at Salon One. Karen, her sister would book monthly pedi. appointments to share quality sister time with her. We would share family stories, world issues, and "Just for girls talk". Janice would always have us laughing. Her smile and positive attitude was so infectious, she never let anything get in the way of her appointments. Janice always picked out pink or purple colors and Karen picked reds or oranges. They both loved the glitter and crackle polish, and would compare toes at the end of their appointments. Janice sure did love her pedicures! I was truly honored when I was asked to go to Hospice to give her a pedicure and to paint her nails.
