I worked with Jeanette in the 1970's at Reid Tool. She was an amazing lady and I cared for her very much. She taught me a lot. She helped me with my cooking and sewing. Jeanette was a very caring lady.

Jeanette is remembered in my cookbook. She would remember me as the brat who bothered her and disrupted her work; but I was very immature and she was quite the lady. She invited me and my friend Marlyce to lunch several times and always made us a wonderful meal. She brought her homemade elderberry wine to work for us to sample.....whoa. She had a great sense of humor - she had to in order to get along with us.

Carolyn, she spoke of you often at work and you were a very special child. I send my deepest sympathy and regards. Jeanette will always be with me in my thoughts.

Carolyn,
Your mom was very special both to me and my mom. My mother valued her friendship.
I have fond memories of her-- like on a hot summer afternoon driving us to the beach in the old green car, watching her knit and sew, listening to her play with the various parrakeets, hearing her laugh at the silly things we little girls did. Remember the wax treatments for her painful arthritis? We thought it was so neat to dip our hands in the hot wax.

I know you will miss her.

I will always have fond memories of "Mom" Zeckzer. She left so many beautiful memories of herself. She was a happy and giving woman. She even shared her most prized recipes with me, some of which I just could
not master. She had "the gift". She was my good friend, Carrie's mama. We did lots of things together. I loved her upbeat mood and especially her great laugh. I will never forget her. She was an amazing woman. I will miss her deeply!!
