Larry Dobberstein. Youngest Son
Mom was a great mom...with 3 boys to train (ha!) She had her hands full....like clockwork, she had certain chores she always did....our meals were always around 5 and each day she had a certain meal pork chops in the pressure cooker on Sunday, broiled spam & velveta cheese on hamburger buns (she used an old hand grinder to mix the spam & cheese together), eggs & toast for supper sometimes, hamburgers, I don't recall most of the others, we always had cereal for breakfast .....She ironed our clothes...even handkerchiefs & underwear.....I cherish the bedtime stories she'd read from a big Bible story book and she'd take us along with her when she went to the Hackley public library....she was a great mom and loved her husband and kids lots.....sure wish I could have more time with her, got lots of questions & would love to sit & talk
