To my wonderful Grimes and Fortino Family,
My Aunt Jeanne was like my second mother... She taught me how to swim , be a better piano player, and deal with life's ups and downs. She was my mother's ( her sisters) best friend and they were blessed to spend their golden years in each others presence.
But the best thing of all was that " she got me" and who I was in the family pecking order.
She will be forever in my heart., but being with my Grandma Grace, George, Mike , Tom. Bill, Muriel and Bob makes me smile and know all is well in heaven.
Niece,
Terrie Severson
My parents, Betty and Harold Hansen (deceased) remember all the good times they had together at Lake Bonnet, FL with Mike and Jeanne, the Mastenbrooks, Secorys, and the VanderZwaags. Deepest sympathy to all of you.

To Jack, Gaye , and the whole Fortino and Grims Family, The past few years I've really enjoyed getting to know Jeanne. She would tell me stories about all of you and how you all were doing. I went to school with some of you so we could really relate. You had a really wonderful woman for a mom. I will miss our Friday walk to the beauty shop down the hall. Love to all. Dear Mike & Kelly Fortino,
As we celebrated our GHHS 50th class togather just a few years ago. we are begining to realize our lives, along with our fellow classmates is approaching new directions. Many of us have had to deal with the passing of our parents, relatives, and close friends. It is never easy, but somehow after time we go on living life to it's fullest. These type of events, allow us to pause and take time out from our busy lives to remember wonderful memories of our "growing up" in Grand Haven.
My sympathies to you and your family members, on the passing of your Mother, Jeanne.
Your teammate, classmate (1960), and friend,
Larry Winslow
We wish we could be there to celebrate Grandma Jeanne's incredible life. I have many memories of lenghty conversations with Jeanne while watching life happen on the Grand River. She made my Grandpa a happy and whole man. Our condolences for the whole family.
