Dear Wainwright family,

I was so sorry to hear of Mrs. Wainwrights's passing. She was one of my bus drivers when I was in elementary school ... and one of my favorite people. She had an infectious smile and her gentle, kind spirit always shone through despite sometimes having to be "tough" with a busload of loud kids who were celebrating the end of a day at school. She will forever be a part of my "younger days" memories. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I got to here mostly of fun times with Joan and Jenne on short trips north to Manistee , and got to meet her once while visting Joan also what a nice person and a great smile !

When I was a little girl there was always a bit of a feud as to who had the best bus driver: Mrs. Wainwright or Mrs. Tenant? Of course, we always pledged allegiance to our own driver (mine was Mrs. Tenant) but my friends all loved Mrs. Wainwright. She was the first school figure they saw in the morning and the last in the afternoon. Oh how we all miss seeing Jeanne across the hall at Seminole Shores! Her wonderful attitude and friendly smile always beckoned us to come over and visit.
