Don't forget there was a funny side to my aunt. Along with being able to tell a joke she would laugh if the joke was on her..

She stayed with me when my Mother died; one of the first things she did when she entered the kitchen was to start alphabetizing my spices. My filing system was that I kept the two or three spices I used up front; all the out of date ones were stored behind. Everyone knew I'm a hopeless cause if she thought the spices would stay alphabetized.

She was a dear women, I'm going to miss her.

JEANNE WAS ONE OF MY BEST FRIENDS.I WAS SO HAPPY WHEN SHE ARRIVED AT MY DOOR WITH A SMILE ON HER FACE & A BASKET OF MUSHROOMS IN HER HANDS. Jeanne was an important part of our lives when we lived in Holland, MI. She was our dear neighbor, good friend and "Grandma Smith" to our boys. Her example of Christian love and caring shown to our family is something we will never forget. No one can know how this dear lady made such a difference in our lives and we mourn her passing today. Our sympathy goes out to all of her family.
