Aunt Jen, You were always one of my favorite aunts. You were so blunt, you just said it like it was.You cursed more than anyone else I knew and you always had us laughing. One memory that I have with you, that I will never forget, is a time when we went to Meijer together, I was probably around 15 years old, it was you, me, and Grandma. We were getting out of the car and for some reason, as I was getting out of the car I grabbed the inside of the door, the strip of the car between the two doors, to pull myself up. She drove this tiny little Ford Escort or something like that that sat low to the ground.I have long legs and it was hard to get out of the car without having to hold onto something to pull myself up out of the car. Well, as I was pulling myself out of the car, Aunt Jen all of a sudden shut her car door, the driver's door, and it slammed shut on my fingers. Of course, she locked the door right before slamming it shut. lol, I screamed, and Aunt Jen had this horrified look come over her face. Her color just drained. She fumbled to find the key to her car to unlock the door all the while saying over and over" oh my god are you alright? Let me see your fingers!" And then she got mad at me because she was scared that she could have broken all my fingers. lol. I will never forget that day. We had had Chinese before this happened. lol. We always went to Chinese together. Good times. Good Memories. Love you, Aunt Jen. I'll miss you until the day we meet again!
