Mr. Jerome "Jerry" J. Zadel's Obituary
Jerome “Jerry” J. Zadel passed away Friday, October 10, 2014. He was born May 14, 1946 to his parents Anton and Lucretia Zadel in Muskegon. Jerry was very passionate about his career in social work. He had earned two Master degrees in Social Work and Psychology from Western Michigan University. He is survived by his loving wife Kathy; along with his son, Jeremy (Sonja) Zadel; daughters, Tonya (Gabe) Heeres and Christina Smith; 10 Grandchildren; his brother, Tony (Joan) Zadel; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Fred Zadel; brothers-in-law, Dave Geiger, Tim Geiger and Judd Esch; and nephew, Christopher Moore. A SERVICE celebrating his life will be held at 11AM Thursday, October 16, 2014 at The Lee Chapel 6291 S. Harvey Street (231-798-1100). VISITATION for Jerry will be held at 2-4PM and 6-8PM on October 15, 2014, as well as an hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
