My deepest sympathy to the Jonas family. I remember Jerry always with a smile on his face, one of "Our St. Catherine's school parents." It's hard to believe we are at this point in our lives when we have to say "Goodbye for now" to our parents. Many prayers are being sent your way.

My mother, Mildred Douglas, knew your family very well, having met Rusty when they worked together at Gardner Denver. She was very fond of her and Jerry. She and my father loved spending time with your family and watching all of you grow up and have families of your own.
She sends her thoughts and prayers and recalls many loving memories. She will not be able to attend visitation or the funeral due to health issues.
I also want to extend my condolences to all of you, your dad will surely be missed.

Uncle Jerry he was always telling stories of the days spent with his family....Rusty,his children,grand children, and great grand children always had a great big smile with a wonderful laugh you could see in his eyes how he cherished each and everyone of them.....loved having them up at the cottage all together.......I will always remember when I was 4 or 5 We were helping Uncle Jerry and Aunt Rusty move from Spring Lake and I had a little piggy bank helping to carry it and tripped on the steps and it broke.... cut my right thumb and I still have a little scar from that day....I will always remember they had horses with Beagle dogs and went hunting for deer both Uncle Jerry and Aunt Rusty and always went riding at all hours on his motor cycle.......He will always be in our hearts with great memories....A guardian angel in heaven...I will miss your great big smile....love you all with hugs to my cousins.....Jill Jonas Norton
