I knew Jerry from our years at GTE, he was a very competent cable splicer even though I did not work with him directly. Jerry was always present at Franks deer hunting get togethers at Ruby Creek. RIP Jerry
One of my greatest blessings is how Jerry and Carol accepted my children and myself as part of their family from the very beginning. He was such a wonderful man, father, and grandfather. I never saw him with anything but a smile anytime we were lucky enough to be in his presence. He was retired since I’ve known him but from what I hear, he worked hard but I know firsthand that he loved harder. I’ve never known a person who fought so courageously. He was a man of integrity and honor and so much love for his family and friends. He is already SO missed. Rest in Paradise, Jerry.
I have know Mr. and Mrs. Wood my entire life. I want to llto share tthis memory because it is how i will always remember him. As a young child i would see Mr. Wood sittingon his porch watering his grass. When i saw this i would run past his house hoping he would spray me.. I did this everytime i saw him out there. I think i even did it in my 20s. They were great neighbors and a constant positive influence in my life, and i know he is so happy to see Mrswood again. I will always keep him in my heart, and miss both of them so much.
