Karen, Don & family – If you looked in the dictionary under the “most awesome dad, grandfather, husband, father in law, step-dad, patient, humorous, very involved with his family and handsome” you’d see a picture of Mr Curtiss (next to my dad). I spent a large majority of my adolescence at the Curtiss household. Times were so simple then (better, I think). Karen & I would ride our white Huffy bikes (remember we bought like 5 of them between the Browers, Curtiss’ and Huggins’? Musta been a heck of a sale!) everywhere and go swimming and jump on the trampoline and play tetherball and buy candy at DeWitt’s and have ice cream at the Front Porch (or Back Door as I called it) and ride our bikes to swim practices at GH Jr High? I have so many wonderful memories of the Curtiss family - Dave, Wayne, Don & Karen. I do remember Mrs Curtiss yelling at us sometimes – I guess we were kinda naughty sometimes. Dohhh! Please accept my condolences. I am so very sorry for your horrific loss. He was just the best!!! What a privilege to have had him as your father/in your life.##imported-begin##Beth (Brower) Maycroft##imported-end##
