Met Jill when she was part of the lady Jaycees, and then the combined organization. I liked how nice, how friendly, and funny.
She'll be missed in this world.
Condolences to the family.

Always a smile, nicest person ever. Friend from Doo Drop Inn, Nancy Langlois Lundholm. Jill will be forever missed.
I’m so sorry for your loss. My husband and I worked at Tony’s with Jill. Later I worked with her a Doo Drop. Jill always had a smile for everyone. She was one of my favorite co-workers. Prayers to the family.

I can see Jill now, carrying her folding chair and walking up to us at one of Hunters baseball games, "Hey Funsters!" she would always say. "Funsters" was how she always referred to us. It's a word I plan on using the rest of my life and a word that really sums up Grandma Jill. She was always having fun, in whatever she did. You could always count one Jill to have a lite hearted attitude towards even the most serious situations. That's just one of the many reasons she was such a pleasure to be around.
Jill was a solid foundation in her grandson Hunters life. I couldn't of asked for a better grandparent to be a role model for him. She was such an immense help when Hunter was young and I'm sure we couldn't of raised Hunter without her. Countless times she dropped off or picked Hunter up from school and took care of him until one of us got out of work. And true to every grandparent, she always had EVERYTHING Hunter wanted for snacks when he got out of school.
I have many fond memories of Jill. Whether it was helping her with "Midders" or "Lady" or one of her other pets. Or asking her to pick me up from someplace because I locked my keys in my car. She was always there when I needed her.
There are just too many things for me to list that I will remember about Jill. She was truly one of a kind and I'm proud, blessed and privileged to have had her in mine, and especially her grandson Hunter's life. Our family will not be the same without her.
We sure enjoyed being a part of "On The House Church" with Jill for several years. Her radiant joy and sincere faith in Jesus were always an inspiration. It's sad to no longer have her here with us, but we're rejoicing in the fact that, because she trusted Christ as her Lord God, she is now experiencing a depth of peace, joy and love that is beyond our comprehension. Our loss is truly HER gain! - Dave and Vicky Eikenberry
