To the Ringelberg Family,
I am sad to hear of Jim's passing. I knew Jim when we were kids. We grew up in the same neighborhood. He loved baseball, and the boys in that neighborhood played a lot of ball in Jerry Engel's vacant lot. There was Jim, Jerry Engel, Charley Barker, Jim Cook, and sometimes Bob Bennett would join us. We had a lot of fun in those days. I think we played ball every day of the summer months.
The last time I saw Jim was probably in my very early twenties when I was still in college. Jim was a fine young man. Fun to be around. Easy going and always very thoughtful of others.
My prayers are with the Ringelberg family. It is hard to lose someone like Jim, especially with Father's Day being tomorrow.
