Jim Ringelberg's Obituary
Mr. Jim Ringelberg, age 64, passed away unexpectedly early Monday morning, June 14, 2010 at his home. Jim was born October 9, 1945 to Henry J. and Elizabeth L. (Spyke) Ringelberg in Grand Haven, and spent his entire life in the Muskegon, Twin Lake, and Whitehall areas. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of Vietnam, and a member of the Don Rea V.F.W. Post #8846. Jim worked at Lorin Industries for 34 years, retiring 11 years ago. After retirement he loved to spend his time with others. It did not matter if he was with his grandchildren, wood working and completing home projects with his wife, or hanging out with friends and family. Jim married Doreen K. Rosema on January 24, 1970 in Muskegon, and she survives him along with 2 children, Scott (Alexandra Justin) Ringelberg of Muskegon, Leah (James) Duplissis of Spring Lake; 3 grandchildren, Evan Ringelberg, Clare and Cady Duplissis; his mother, Betty Ringelberg of Norton Shores; 2 sisters, Daryl (Thomas) Nederveld of Rockford, Lynn (Jeff) Balaskovits of Fruitport; many nieces and nephews. Jim was preceded in death by his father, Henry. SERVICES will be 2:00 PM Friday at The Lee Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 6291 S. Harvey St. (231) 798-1100 with Rev. Burt C. Wachter officiating.
