Joanie was a good childhood friend of mines in North Muskegon. I hadn't seen Joanie in years until I bumped into her a few months ago. Let me tell you we laughed and talked for 30 minutes in the store. Joanie always had a big smile and bubbly spirit every time I seen her. May you R.I.P. my friend🙏🏾

Met her early in life in North Muskegon, but in the 8th grade at Nelson Jr High we became closer. She was SUCH a sweet person. We sorta stayed in touch, definitely when i'd come home for vacation I'd try to reach her just to see how she was doing. I'm still trying to wrap my head around her being gone....some things in life just aren't fair. Wish i could tell her (one more time) how wonderful she was as a person.....but of course she's smiling down from heaven now reading this; so she knows. :-)
