Dear Cousins (brothers and sisters of Joan),
I remember Joan especially as a very good friend of my mother, Ella. She also graciously helped me celebrate my 50th Jubilee as a Dominican sister last summer in Grand Rapids. --My sympathy and prayer, June##imported-begin##June Martin, OP, Commerce Twp.##imported-end##

Your Mom, Joan was such a wonderful lady! I will always be thankful that she met my Dad, Dick, and that they had 20 years together.
She brought alot of joy into my Dad's life by getting him out to do fun things. I know that they especially enjoyed going to church, plays and out to dinner. They looked out for each other which was a blessing to both families.
I will always be indebted to her for bringing my Dad to the Lord! She brought him to church and even gave him private lessons so he could become Catholic and be Baptized!!
When I think of Joan I have wonderful memories of going out to dinner and occassionly having them over to my house for dinner. She always had such a wisdom and I so enjoyed her company. Joan was one of those people I instantly bonded with and felt comfortable around.
You are blessed to have her for your Mom! I love her and will miss her:)##imported-begin##Linda (Drummond) Ahearn Lowell, MI##imported-end##
