Johanna Lynne Billingsley's Obituary
Johanna Billingsley, age 47, passed away unexpectedly at home, on Friday, August 7, 2020. She was the wife of Paul Billingsley. They shared 23 years of marriage together.
Johanna was born in Warren, Michigan, she was the daughter of Roger and Beverly Krajci. She accomplished her Masters of Western History at American Public University and was a Professor at Grand Rapids Community College.
Johanna enjoyed being with family and friends, and no matter what was going on in her life she would drop everything to be with them. She dedicated herself to support her children’s school activities. She will be remembered for her bubbly personality, infectious smile, uplifting spirit, inquisitive nature, and love for learning. She adored owls everywhere she went, reading, art/craft shows, movies, music, decorating for holidays, and dining with friends and family. She had an abiding faith in the Lord.
Johanna is survived by her beloved husband, Paul Billingsley; loving mother of Kayla Billingsley, Drew Billingsley, and her cat Inca; dearest daughter of Roger and Beverly Krajci; brothers Vincent (Stacey) Krajci, David (Lisa) Krajci, and Jonathon Krajci; daughter-in-law to Jay and Joyce Billingsley; sister-in-law of Laura (Jim) Brodie and Kathryn Billingsley. Johanna is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and loving friends. She is predeceased by her dog, Bear.
A celebration of Johanna’s life will take place on Saturday, August 22nd, 2020 at Dutton Shadyside Park (7343 Hammond Ave. SE, Caledonia, MI 49316) from 12:00 - 5:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the children's education fund. Arrangements entrusted to The Lee Chapel of the Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 S.
