John is truly going to be missed. From his smile to his jokes I will miss him dearly. His family and friends are in my prayers. MH
There are so many memories of John at Medallion, he knew how to bring humor to the job and made our group laugh when it was needed. A memory that stands out is at one our meetings he joked that 'it would really be sucking up to your boss if your son was born on my birthday' then he was born the next day on April 21st.
So very very sorry as we offer our sympathies to Shai and the entire Bishop family. As a former council president (John) and church secretary (me), I had his line on speed dial! Always good conversations... Fun was an even better way to describe them. John will be missed. 💔
So many memories of movie nights with pizza roles and candy bars. He absolutely loved his daughter and he welcomed us all into his home as friends of her. He also was the officiant who married my husband and I. I will be forever grateful to have known him and share so many wonderful memories.
John (JB) was a faithful friend to me & my late husband John. After my John’s death we formed a small Bible study group comprised of OSLC members. During our discussions, JB & others would share stories & things they missed about John. We cried together as we all grieved his death. Those memories that JB shared helped me so much! Being able to talk about someone you love & now grieve is a great gift. So share your memories of John Bishop. Talk about how you miss him. Cry together. Laugh together over some of those stories. By doing this, you keep his memory, his legacy alive. He was a generous, kind man with so much love for Shai & his larger family. He gave of himself as Jesus showed us & told us to. JB will be sorely missed by so many people whose hearts & lives he touched with his kindness.
