We met John and Karen when he bought his horse from us. Phil put him on ice for a while but John could not be swayed and finally Drifter was his. I don't think anyone has ever enjoyed a horse as much as John enjoyed Drifter. He enjoyed endless hours in the saddle and what a bond those two developed. We feel so fortunate that we were able to share trail rides, campfires, star filled nights, and such good friends. John always ha a look of pure joy on his face when riding, what a blessing to know such peace and joy. A look he also showed when talking about his family. I will never forget that last ride, especially since none of us knew it was the last. I remember riding through the woods with the sun rays slanting through the pines and then Our conversation about the outdoors and Gods true cathedral. So John, we feel blessed that you have left us with that vision, we will carry that with us forever.
