I think back to living across the street from John in high school. We would take off after school to hunt or fish and then at night he would help me with my homework. All the good times on the basketball team. Will always remember the good times. Mike Rosenow

So sad to learn of John's passing. Iris, Julia, Brad, and I all remember how John and Vicki were so warm and inviting when we were adjusting to Las Vegas-- how we picked peacock feathers together and shared grapes from the vine at their house. And of course, John’s magic tricks at parties-- he was a wonderful man and will be sorely missed.
Where is my friend John? John immediately accepted me into the family with open arms and he stood up for me when his wifes sister Lori and were married in Las Vegas. My friend John is now walking in the promise land of nature that no one here on earth can imagine. He's walking the trials beside beautiful lakes, talking to folks and doing magic tricks for children while a constant smile runs across his face. My friend John is now home and at peace forever.

John and Vicki welcomed me and my wife to the Las Vegas area. I have so many fond memories to Packer games, magic, and stories. John definitely had the gift of gab. It was always a good time listening to him recount his time at the DNR or talk about whatever was on him mind. His sense of humor was amazing as well. We were both extremely shocked and saddened to hear about his passing. John was a great friend and is sorely missed.
I remember you showing me all your cool magic tricks and never left without telling a story of some sort big or small. I remember all the jokes you had and all the mini talks that me and you shared with every time I got to see you. You will forever and always be with me not only in my heart but spiritually and I plan to share all the kindness, tricks, and jokes with others in the memory of you. Love and miss you tons, I hope you are enjoying your new home where you can teach others the same you taught me.
Wow where do I begin. From the first day Vicki married John Rigg until now has been nothing but memories. Starting with being an DNR how he took time to talk to people and children. Entertaining with magic tricks or playing a ukelele with cute dorky made up tunes. Let's not forget the funny jokes. You knew he was a caring person by the way he would speak to you.
