Mr. John H. Butner, Jr., passed away Tuesday, January 30, 2007 at the University of Chicago Hospital. He was born in Atchison, Kansas on November 28, 1944 to John and Helen (Berry) Butner. Mr. Butner was a teacher in the Muskegon Read Obituary

What a great wonderful man your husband/father was. He helped me when I first got my start in teaching 21 years ago at King School. I will always remember him by his endless dedication to his students and his willingness to go the extra mile for anyone. It was a privelege to have known him. I worked at Glenpark Animal hospital for many years and had the pleasure of meating Mr. Butner when he brought Gloria in. I just wanted to say it isn't often you get the chance to meet a genuinely nice person, but I was lucky enough to have that chance. I wish to let you know I'm very sorry for your loss.
