My daughter Mikel Jo and I met your father at the hermitage. We had many
fun times just talking with Jude. He
was a remarkable man. So fun to be around. Mikey would tease him about him
being her boyfriend. I've missed seeing
him.##imported-begin##peggy vanndering##imported-end##
Hi,
Just wanted you to know that you have my sympathy. My Dad,Levi Jourden, was staying at DeBoer's at the same time as Jute. My Dad passed away on April 21st so we haven't been to the nursing home since then, but I remember your father very well. In fact, my Dad was moved to Jute's room and Jute was moved to my Dad's room shortly before my Dad died. I also ate dinner with my Dad one night and Jute and his daughter were at the same table. It is so hard to lose someone you love. God bless your family.

We joined Bethany Church about 14 years ago and Cyndy really took a shine to Jute. He was born the same year as her father who had died. She shared many a hug with Jute and I shared many hand shakes! We really liked his wit and charm. We would talk to his son, Jeff, too when he visited the church. May God bless his family now and forever.

To the family of Mr. John "Jute" Bowman you have our deepest sympathy. Jute was just like family to us, having met him when our son Larell attended Western Michigan Christian, and talking with Jute at the basketball games. And just recently talking and visiting with him at Deboers. He will be greatly missed and we truly loved him. We will keep you in our prayers. Our sincerest regrets over your loss. We have missed Jute stopping in for coffee and telling us his stories and how much he missed his friend Jerry V. The two of them were quite a pair. Jute always looked at the positive and was always thank full to the Lord for giving him the life he had. All of us will miss the joy of just sitting and talking to him.

Judy, Sally just heard from her sister-in-law that you Dad had died so she called me. The last Sally had talked to him - last year around his birthday - he was doing great and commented that he had two years to go to live as long and Grandma and we thought he would make it. I would love to hear from you and re-hash all the great times we had when we were kids and you lived on Maple Island Rd (Judy B Ranch ??). Since I have lived in Arizona for 11 years I have lost contact with family. My kids all live in the GR area (Grandville, Rockford, GR and Cedar Springs) and I will be visiting for my eldest grandson's graduation from high school in a couple of weeks. My prayers are with you at this time. Love, cousin Jan##imported-begin##Jan Williams##imported-end##
