My grandpa was loved by everybody!HE was so nice. I dont think anybody will ever forget him. But then again how can you! I fell so bad because i did not even get to see him before he pased away! Now i pray that when i die i will be up in heaven with him him just like everybody else. My grandpa would not be mean to you at all. He would always be nice to you even if he was in a bad moode. I think that everone in my family misses him so much! Well i know i do. Even though i could not see him everyday of my life i still will love him and trea him with respect. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH! Grandpa was a "One of a Kind" man. I can only wish to have half the strength and heart as my gandpa. There will not be day that goes by that I won't think of him. I will always have great memories. Like seeing him pull into a job site and helping him unload his truck not matter what we were doing. And how on all the years in the fields no matter what temperature it was grandpa would always wear a long sleeve shirt. Or how we would stop at the pickle field after a long day out in the field and grandpa would pull over and I would run out and grab as many cucumbers as I could for him. And on his 80th birthday we were at grandma and grandpa's and everyone was inside except for grandpa. I walked out back and told him we were waiting for him with a cake to eat and he smiled at me and said "Well let's go eat it." :-)##imported-begin##John E. Gallegos##imported-end##

It's been a long time since I've seen "Uncle" John (probably 35 years or more), and was sadden to hear he had past away. I don't know if anyone remembers who I am, but I am Steven, the oldest son of Joe and Kay Gomez of Wolf Lake. I remember when our family would go over to "Donna & John's" to have a family get together, we always had a good time. I'm sorry to say I don't remember all of their childrens names, but I do believe they had 2 daughters who were referred to as "Cookie & Girl". I remeber the family as a whole was a happy one and fun to be around. Well I would like to say, for the Joe & Kay Gomez family, our prayers are with you Aunt Donna and all your children.
