John will be missed a lot and our prayers are with you all. I will never forget the time we went canoeing with the group and John had to show us how to push off. He pushed off jumped in and sent Jean flying out into the water with all the snack floating down the river. I am deeply sad about the lost of Uncle John. Im sorry I didnt make it to his funeral. But all of you are in my thoughts and prayers. He will never be forgotten. I will always remember the wonderful memories of us going fishing and the great times we all had together.

Jean, I never met you or the rest of John's family, but I worked with John at Story & Clark and Haworth. He was a wonderful, friendly and funny man, always willing to show me how to fit those hammers so they traveled just right, singing "Hey Good Looking" while we worked the days away. He was a special neighbor to my grandparents for so many years and I'm sure John and Vern are enjoying the view from above now watching the grandkids they love.
