It was an honor and privilege to have worked with Joe at NSPD. He taught me so much when I first started, and some of it was even about police work. Joe was a great man, a loyal friend and he had a giant heart. He will truly be missed. RIP

It was a privilege to work with Joe for many years at NSPD. He taught me quite a bit when I was a young new officer. Condolences to the family, and apologies for being out of town and unable to attend the services to remember and honor him.

I was was lucky enough to work with Joe for several years at the theater. I was 16 when i started my job there and now, at 36, I still consider him to be one of the best people I've ever had the pleasure to work with. He was warm, funny, and I knew we were in good hands when he was on the job. He was a truly lovely man and he will be so missed.
