Dear Dad,
You being such reader I thought is best to write you a note. Let me start with thank you, two words that hardly describe how grateful I am to call you Dad. People say time is a precious commodity, you always seem to have an abundance of, thank you Dad for sharing it. Dad, I believe we all a better because of you. We are better listeners, better carpenters, better traveling packers, better puzzle solvers, better spellers, better husbands, better siblings, better grandparents, better workers and better human beings, thank you. Dad, I want you to know how much I admire your remarkable memory, your life’s stories, what gift’s I hope to never forget. I will continue to retell your stories & quotes. I promise to give you credit when I repeat them, however, some times I forget. One favorite quote from you Dad, I use often when I raise a glass, “Here’s looking up your area code”, thank you. Also, we left Muskegon you would always say to give the kids or whoever was not with that day to give them a squeeze. So here I go, “please give Mom a squeeze” she knows I will be home again.
Dad,
I lov yah
Mat
