I always remember Joe's smile, curly hair, easy-going personality and speed on the football field. Rest in peace my friend.

Have a lot of great memories of Joe on Long Lake fishing and just having fun, but this one stands out, back in the late 60, s or 1970...Joe, his brother Dave, myself Dan, and my brother Steve would row out and fish the Lake. We didn’t have any kind of motor boats back in those days, so we used what we had... Cane poles.....I was with Joe in one boat, and Dave and my brother Steve was in another. We were not doing well when Joe mention to me that Mom or Dad had maid up some kind of dough balls to put on the hook. I had never heard of this and I am 10 years older than Joe, what the heck i said let’s try it , we did and damn did we catch the fish.....we won 50 cents from the other guys.....Awesome.....so RIP little brother until we meet again...you will be truly missed.
Jo Jo had the smile that never ended and always brought joy to any moment! I haven’t seen you in awhile my friend, but your personality and kindness will remain with me forever! So hard to say goodbye!
My love to you and your family!

I haven’t seen Joe since we graduated together from Muskegon Catholic back in 1982. But I always remember him having a great big smile, a big head a curly of hair, and being just a really nice guy. Condolences to his family 😢🙏
